UGI, AmeriGas report fire damage to Pa. building
VALLEY FORGE, Pa. — UGI Corp., a holding company for energy company and utilities, and propane marketer AmeriGas Partners LP said Thursday there had been fire and smoke damage at their main administrative building in King of Prussia, Pa.
No injuries were reported, and the companies do not expect any material disruption to operations. The fire happened about 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Chief Operating Officer John Walsh said the fire damaged the exterior of the first floor of the five-story building, and smoke and water damaged other areas.
UGI shares fell 14 cents to $24.85 in late morning trading, and AmeriGas shares fell 5 cents to $39.75.
