LONDON - ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ semi-finalist Susan Boyle has made it to America’s longest running animated series ‘The Simpsons’.

Thesun.co.uk reports that Boyle’s name is mentioned in an episode of the sitcom where character Homer Simpson auditions for the talent show’s judge Simon Cowell in ‘Springfield’s Got Talent’ - a parody of the US version of the show.

Echoing Susan’s words at her audition, Homer tells the judging panel: ‘My name is Homer Simpson, I’m 39 years old and, well, I’ve never been kissed… My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle.’

Boyle who has also been mentioned in adult cartoon series ‘South Park’ is said to be delighted with the mention.

‘Susan does watch ‘The Simpsons’ and she will be chuffed to bits to get in an episode. It is incredible to see how popular she has become in America. I’d like to see her actually appear on ‘The Simpsons’, as it would be great to see yourself as a character on such a huge show,’ said her brother Gerry.
