Maya Angelou Dead?

Rumors are abound in Twitter about the apparent death of Maya Angelou, famous Pulitzer prize nominated author and poet.
TMZ reports Maya Angelou was taken to the hospital on Saturday evening.
Maya Angelou, aged 81, was in Los Angeles to be honored at the BraveHeart Awards. BraveHeart awards is for women who choose to be inspiration in action.
Maya Angelou (born Marguerite Ann Johnson on April 4, 1928) is a famous American autobiographer and poet. She was called “America’s most visible black female autobiographer” by scholar Joanne M. Braxton. Maya Angelou is best known for her series of six autobiographies, which focus on her childhood and early adulthood experiences.
Maya Angelou’s first and probably best-known autobiography, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (1969), focuses on the first seventeen years of her life. It brought her international recognition, and was nominated for a National Book Award.
The rumors in Twitter range from she is OK ( a statement apparently made by her grandson ) to she is dead. We do not have any confirmation at this time.
