Osmond helps ‘Dancing With the Stars’ top ratings
NEW YORK — For one week at least, Donny Osmond was a big-time television star again.
The former host of a variety show with his sister Marie saw his victory on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” burn up the ratings. The climactic dance-off was the week’s most popular program and the results show came in third.
The Nielsen Co. said CBS’ “NCIS” came in second.
An ABC special genealogy special, “Find My Family,” had a strong audience of nearly 13 million viewers.
CBS’ movie special “A Dog Named Christmas” was seen by 12.4 million people.
