Mother, 3 young children die in Ark. house fire

CONWAY, Ark. — Authorities say a woman and her three young children died in a house fire in central Arkansas.

Conway Fire Chief Bart Castleberry says firefighters were called shortly after 8 p.m. Monday and arrived to find flames coming from the front and both sides of the home.

Castleberry says investigators have not determined the cause of the fire.

Police Lt. Susan Wilson identified the victims as Jennifer Cissel and her children, 5-year-old Gwennette Snodgrass, 4-year-old Chris Snodgrass and 3-year-old Arley Snodgrass.

Coroner Patrick Moore says he believes they died of smoke inhalation. He says Cissel was found in the living room and the children were found in the bathroom.
