LONDON - Recession hit fashionistas in the UK have now got a bargain which would certainly make them stand tall, and that too without burning a hole in their pocket - a pair of heels costing just 9 pounds a pair.

Touted as Britain’s biggest bargain, the cheap shoes have become a rage after going on sale at discount clothes store Primark.
And a pink version of the heels has become one of the store’s biggest ever sellers, after stars like Lady GaGa and Victoria Beckham were spotted in similar designer heels costing up to 300 pounds.

The shoes have become so popular that people have even bought multiple pairs of the 9 pounds shoes, while similar pairs are available on eBay for 22 pounds.

“They are the best bargain on the High Street,” the Sun quoted Ali Hall, editor of fashion magazine Look, as saying.

Next month, Primark would introduce new colours in the range - coral, blue, teal and white. (ANI)
