13 W.Va. firms head to China for mining trade show
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Thirteen West Virginia companies that supply the state’s coal mining industry are heading to China with the hopes of landing contracts there.
The companies will be among 300 exhibitors from 17 nations at the Beijing mining trade show, which starts Tuesday and ends Friday.
Company officials are traveling with representatives from the state Development Office. Eight of the companies will display their products at a West Virginia booth being set up by the Development Office. The other five will have their own separate exhibits.
