USSA Alpine director Hunt leaves for new job
PARK CITY, Utah — Alpine director Jesse Hunt is leaving the U.S. Ski Team to become the general manager and program director of the Park City Ski Education Foundation.
Hunt will stay on with the national team at least through the end of May.
A search for his replacement will begin immediately.
Hunt took over the country’s overall alpine program after the 2002 Olympics. He has worked for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association for 16 years.
During Hunt’s tenure as head of the alpine program, the team won 18 medals at world championships and Bode Miller and Lindsey Vonn each won two World Cup overall titles.
