LONDON - A pair of twin brothers, who had pulled a 14-year-old boy off his bike and robbing him, were arrested after their victim spotted them on Google’s Street View.

The muggers were snapped by one of the internet site’s roving camera cars in September, just moments before they robbed the teen.

The boy identified the two men six months later, when he was checking out Street View pictures of his neighbourhood in Groningen, Holland, and saw the brothers following him.

Following his complaint, cops asked Google for the original photo, considering that software on their site automatically blurs faces.

The twins were later recognised by a detective.

They are now accused of stealing 140 pounds and the boy’s mobile phone.

“We have not used Street View images before. For us it is unique,” the Sun quoted a police spokesman as saying last night.

Neither the boy nor the twins has been named. (ANI)
