First daughters check out parents done in wax
WASHINGTON — The sight of their parents done up in wax at Madame Tussauds museum in Washington sent Sasha and Malia Obama giggling.
Museum officials say the first daughters commented that it would be “hilarious” if they took photos with the figures of President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
Besides checking out their parents, Sasha and Malia took photos Monday with wax figures of Beyonce, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Lopez during their half-hour visit.
Officials say the girls waited in line to see the museum’s replica of the Oval Office. They say they politely declined an offer to skip in front of the line.
