Northrop Grumman gets contract with National Guard

HERNDON, Va. — Security company Northrop Grumman Corp. said Friday it received a training contract with the U.S. National Guard valued at $50 million over five years.

Northrop Grumman will support planning and execution for joint doctrine, education, training, exercises, assessments and corrective actions for the National Guard Bureau headquarters, Joint Force headquarters for the states and territories, and subordinate joint entities.

Shares of the company closed at $54.50 on Thursday.
