Fifth person arrested in NH burglary killing

CONCORD, N.H. — New Hampshire authorities say a fifth person has been arrested in a home-invasion attack that killed a woman and severely injured her 11-year-old daughter.

Twenty-year-old Autumn Savoy has been charged with two counts of hindering apprehension or prosecution and one count of conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension or prosecution. Savoy was being arraigned Wednesday, but authorities didn’t know whether he had an attorney.

Four other young men have already been charged in the Oct. 4 attack that killed Kimberly Cates of Mont Vernon and injured her daughter, Jaimie.

Assistant Attorney General Lucy Carrillo says Savoy was arrested at his home without incident. She declined to comment on his relationship to the other defendants.

No motive has been given for the attack.
