LONDON - Twenty-two years after his Oscar-winning performance in critically-acclaimed film ‘Wall Street’ (1987), studio bosses are trying to convince actor Michael Douglas to reprise his role in a sequel to the movie.

Contactmusic.com reports, Douglas has been offered a multi-million dollar offer to reprise his role as wicked moneyman Gordon Gekko in the sequel and the producers are trying hard to convince him to slip back into a pin-striped suit and head back to New York’s financial district.

The new film will focus on Gekko, recently released from prison, and re-entering a much more chaotic financial world than the one he once oversaw.
