Ex-US Rep. Foley makes talk radio show debut
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley began his new career on a Florida political talk radio, three years after a lurid scandal ruined his congressional career.
“Inside the Mind of Mark Foley” debuted Tuesday evening on WSVU 960am out of North Palm Beach.
The station says the show offers an inside look at the inner workings of Washington. He’ll tackle topics such as the Securities and Exchange Commission and its role in the Bernie Madoff scandal.
The Republican represented parts of Palm Beach County and left Congress in 2006 after being confronted with salacious e-mails and instant messages he sent to male teens who had worked on Capitol Hill as congressional pages.
He lives in West Palm Beach and works in real estate investment.
