Diamond Foods’ Emerald brand boosts market share
SAN FRANCISCO — Diamond Foods Inc. said Thursday its Emerald nuts brand achieved a 10 percent market share in the four-week period that ended Nov. 28.
Diamond said Emerald brands climbed 360 basis points to reach the milestone. Better distribution helped boost sales.
Diamond, based in San Francisco, also sells snacks under the Pop Secret brand.
Its shares rose 5 cents to close at $31.21 on Thursday.
