Alabama casino reopens with redesigned bingo games
WHITE HALL, Ala. — An electronic bingo casino in White Hall has reopened with redesigned games.
The White Hall Resort and Entertainment Center shut down after the Alabama Supreme Court issued a ruling Nov. 13 setting criteria for the games at the gambling center 20 miles west of Montgomery.
Entertainment center attorney Collins Pettaway Jr. said it reopened about 5 p.m. Tuesday with about half of its 900 games in operation.
Pettaway said the games are no longer automatic. They require more customer interaction and customers must announce when they have a win.
The reopening of the White Hall business coincided with the opening of the Country Crossing electronic bingo hall in Dothan on Tuesday.
