Agriculture futures mixed on the Chicago BOT
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery fell 3.75 cents to $5.625 a bushel, while December corn lost 3 cents to $3.95 a bushel and oats for December delivery was flat at $2.595 a bushel. January soybeans jumped 12 cents to $10.39 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle edged up 0.6 cent to 83.67 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 0.1 cent to 91.82 cents a pound; December lean hogs shed 0.48 cent to 55.97 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.58 cents to 87.07 cents a pound.
