Xbox live down: even today

Why Xbox live is down? nobody knows the answer, but it is still down. Along with Xbox most of social networking sites and some of the popular gaming sites are going down now and then, it appears to be a regular practice. Even same thing happened to most popular sites like Facebook and Twitter.

It appears that Microsoft may have planned an outage for maintenance therefore www.xbox.com/networkhelp/ and xbox.com/support are all out of service.

Xbox Live is a popular multiplayer gaming and digital media delivery service, created and operated by Microsoft Corporation. Presently, Xbox Live is the only online gaming service that charges a fee to the users who want to play this multiplayer gaming.

Way back in 2002, it was made available to the Xbox system for the very first time. An updated version of the service became available for the Xbox 360 console at that system’s launch in 2005. On the Windows platform, the service is named Games for Windows - Live,On Windows platform, this game service is given the name Games for Windows.
