The following recalls have been announced:
About 641,000 Bobby Chupete pacifiers, manufactured in China and imported by Grand World Inc. of Maspeth, N.Y., because the mouth guard is too small, creating a choking risk. About 17,000 youth hooded sweat shirts and jackets, manufactured in China and imported by Century 21 Promotions of Seattle, because drawstrings through the hoods could trap or strangle children. No incidents have been reported. They were sold at a variety of stores — primarily in New England, Washington and Alaska — between September 2005 and September 2009. Details: by Web at www.cpsc.gov.
About 90 EXO-Tech safety harnesses for hunting, manufactured in the Philippines by Gorilla Inc. of Flushing, Mich., because of a defect that could allow a user to fall when force is applied to the harness. Additionally, the back of the harness includes an untested carabiner connector. No incidents have been reported. The harnesses were sold at Cabelas, Bass Pro and at various sporting goods stores nationwide from May 2009 to August 2009.
