Churchill Brothers wins I-League football

MARGAO/NEW DELHI - Churchill Brothers won their maiden I-League football title after defeating Mohammedan Sporting 6-2 in their last league match at the Nehru Stadium Thursday.

Mohun Bagan finished second after going down 1-2 to Mahindra United at Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.

The third place went to Sporting Clube De Goa who beat Air India 3-1 in Gurgaon.
