BHUBANESWAR - The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will attend the Third Front leaders’ meeting in New Delhi Sunday even though the party is yet to decide on joining the grouping, a senior BJD leader said Saturday.

Rajya Sabha member B.J. Panda said he will attend the meeting as an observer.

‘I am going as an observer because they are like-minded parties,’ Panda told OTV, an Oriya television channel, from New Delhi.

The BJD of Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik last week snapped its 11-year-old alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
