Barcelona to rest Henry before big battle

BARCELONA - Barcelona’s French striker Thierry Henry will most likely miss the Spanish club’s next four games, including Wednesday’s Copa del Rey final against Atletico Bilbao.
The club’s official website reported that the Henry was ‘undergoing specific treatment to try and ensure that he can play Champions League in Rome against Manchester United’.
The 31-year-old Frenchman has been one of the key players in Barcelona’s bid to become the first Spanish team to win the treble of Europe’s top club competition, the domestic league and Cup double.
This will equalise the club to the likes of Manchester United, Celtic, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax, which are the only four clubs to have achieved the feat.
Henry has scored 25 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions this season and has combined with Samuel Eto’o and Lionel Messi for 69 of Barcelona’s 100 league goals, a record for a trio of players in La Liga.
