Woman vanishes from NYC office tower
NEW YORK — Police are searching for a woman who vanished from a Manhattan office tower midway through her shift on the evening cleaning crew, and hasn’t been heard from since.
Eridania (ehr-ee-DAH’-nee-uh) Rodriguez disappeared from her job in the financial district Tuesday night.
She punched in for her shift, worked a few hours and was last seen on security cameras around 7 p.m.
A family lawyer says the building’s cameras never recorded her leaving the skyscraper.
Her purse and street clothes were still in her locker.
Police searched the building Wednesday and found no trace of the missing woman.
Rodriguez is the sister of Victor Martinez, a top-ranked professional bodybuilder.
