Woman commits suicide in Delhi

NEW DELHI - A 20-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide at her house in the national capital, police said Wednesday. Her family members alleged that she was being harassed for dowry.
Ruby, who got married a year-and-half-back, hanged herself to death at Aman Vihar in west Delhi Tuesday night, a police officer said.
“She was taken to the hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. A sub-divisional magistrate inquiry has been ordered into the incident,” the officer said.
Ruby’s family alleged that she took the extreme step due to dowry harassment.
