LONDON - Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon learnt about her role in the new animated movie ‘Monsters Vs Aliens’ from actor Bruce Willis.

Witherspoon plays the voice of a female giant in the new 3D family movie. She admitted that she learnt for the role by watching Willis’ action movies when she was told by producers that they wanted her to sound like Willis’ character John McClane from the ‘Die Hard’ movies, reports contactmusic.com.

She said: ‘They wanted to make me sound more like an action hero, like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone… They had to take me out of the (sound) booth and show me Bruce Willis movies.’
