Wheat, corn, soybeans futures gain on Chicago BOT
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mostly higher early Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for July delivery jumped 2.25 cents to $5.43 a bushel, while July corn added 4.25 cents to $3.9425 a bushel and July soybeans rose 1 cent to $10.33 a bushel. Oats for May delivery were unchanged at $1.94 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
June live cattle traded up 0.13 cent to 83.6 cents a pound, while May feeder cattle gained 0.1 cent to 99.3 cents a pound. June lean hogs rose 0.78 cent to 72.65 cents a pound, and May pork bellies advanced 1.05 cents to 83.3 cents a pound.
