Wheat, corn, soybeans futures drop on the Chicago BOT; livestock prices mostly lower

Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly drop
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures were mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery edged up 0.5 cent to $4.9475 a bushel; December corn slipped 3.75 cents to $3.775 a bushel; November soybeans lost 6 cents to $9.93 a bushel; and oats for December delivery slipped 0.5 cent to $2.5425 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle shed 0.50 cent to 84.80 cents a pound; November feeder cattle dropped 0.52 cent to 93.65 cents a pound; December lean hogs lost 0.92 cent to 52.90 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.90 cents to 83 cents a pound.
