Wheat, corn, oats, soybeans advance on the Chicago Board of Trade; livestock futures mixed

Agriculture futures advance on the CBOT
CHICAGO — Agriculture futures advanced Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery soared 26.25 cents to $4.9425 a bushel, while December corn jumped 19 cents to $3.8125 a bushel and oats for December delivery climbed 14.75 cents to $2.5475 a bushel. November soybeans surged 35 cents to $9.99 a bushel.
Meanwhile, beef futures traded mixed and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle inched up 0.35 cent to 85.3 cents a pound; November feeder cattle lost 0.3 cent to 94.17 cents a pound; December lean hogs rose 1.05 cents to 53.82 cents a pound; and February pork bellies edged up 0.65 cent to 84.9 cents a pound.
