US Forest Service: Arson caused giant LA wildfire
LOS ANGELES — The U.S. Forest Service says arson is the cause of the wildfire north of Los Angeles that killed two firefighters. Deputies have launched a homicide investigation. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person who set the fire that’s destroyed more than five dozen homes and burned 226 square miles.
The two firefighters died Sunday when their truck careened off a steep mountain road.
