UN condemns Pakistan hotel blast

UNITED NATIONS - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Tuesday strongly condemned the bombing of a luxury hotel in Pakistan’s northwestern Peshawar city in which at least 11 people were killed, including an UN official.

In a statement issued here, Ban said he was saddened by the “large number of dead and wounded”, including a UN refugee agency staff who died in the attack.
