Two killed in West Bengal road accident

KOLKATA - Two people were killed when a truck collided with a taxi Sunday in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district, police said.

The police said the accident happened due to poor visibility because of morning fog.

‘The taxi, with a lady passenger, collided head on with a speeding truck. The taxi driver, identified as Binod Das, and the passenger Arati Mitra died on the spot,’ a police official said.
