Two killed in clash in Delhi

NEW DELHI - An altercation over a wooden ladder escalated into a major quarrel between neighbours in which two people were killed and four injured in the capital Friday, police said.

The quarrel broke out between Shamshad and Abdullah in Shastri Park area of northeast Delhi around noon.

It took an ugly turn when Abdullah and his family members attacked and killed 36-year-old Shamshad and his 18-year-old relative Chand Mian.

‘They stabbed Shamshad and Chand Mian killing them on the spot. The culprits are absconding,’ a police officer said.

He said four injured people were admitted to the GTB hospital.
