Two arrested with heroin in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW - Two men involved in supplying contraband drugs to various states were arrested in Uttar Pradeshs Ghazipur district with heroin worth nearly Rs.2 crore, police said Monday.

Inspector D.P. Singh told IANS that the two men, in their early 30s, said they got the heroin from men in Nepal and were to take it to states mainly in northern and central India. Ghazipur is about 300 km from here.
