Train-bus collision kills 11 in Romania

BUCHAREST - Eleven people were killed and five seriously injured Friday when a train collided with a bus in northeastern Romania.

The accident took place at a railway crossing in Iasi County. There were 15 people on board the bus at the time of the accident.

The bus driver apparently ignored the signal at the railway crossing, which has no barriers, the police said. The driver was in a coma after the accident.
