Three terrorists killed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR - Three terrorists who tried to sneak into Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan were killed Saturday along the Line of Control (LoC), police here said.

A police officer said that soldiers spotted a group of heavily-armed men in Gurez sector of LoC, which divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.

“The terrorists were challenged. But they opened fire at the troops, leading to an encounter in which three terrorists were killed,” the officer told IANS.

Troops later searched the area to see if any terrorist had managed to enter India.
