Three policemen killed in Iraqi suicide bombing

BAQUBA - A suicide bomber Monday struck a joint US and Iraqi foot patrol in Iraq’s Diyala province, killing at least three policemen and injuring 12, a police source said.

The suicide bomber blew up his explosive laden vest among US and Iraqi security personnel who were patrolling in Tapo Street in Baquba city, some 65 km northeast of Baghdad, a police source said.

The US troops have sealed off the area.
