Three killed in Mexico plane crash

MEXICO CITY - Three military personnel were killed when the small plane in which they were travelling crashed in western Mexico, an official said.

“There are three bodies. We believe they are the only ones who were onboard,” state civil defence chief Carlos Mandujano said Friday.

The accident occurred in Michoacan state.

Media reports said that the small Cessna plane crashed during an emergency-landing attempt.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
