Ted Kennedy died at 77

Ted-KennedyMassachusetts Sen. Ted Kennedy (Edward Kennedy) the younger brother of Late President John F Kenedy died on Tuesday at the age of 77. He died at his home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.

Edward Kennedy who was popularly know as Ted was a great inspiration for his family, friends and co-workers. According to a family statement:

We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever.

We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice.

It was a lengthy battle with brain cancer, and eventually the cause of death. Shortly after a seizure in 2008, May, a malignant glioma was discovered in his left parietal lobe of the brain. The tumor was successfully removed by the surgeons at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, and Kennedy underwent with the usual follow-up radiation treatments and chemotherapy.

Ted Kennedy is survived by his his first wife, Joan Bennett, second wife-Victoria Ann Reggie Kennedy, and five children Patrick, Kara and Edward Jr. from first wife, and Curran and Caroline Raclin from his second wife.

That’s a terrible thing for American…and the world; we all lost a great man and also a long legacy of family patriots and supporters to the American people and politics. We will miss you. Condolences to the family.
