Lowe’s to form joint venture with Woolworths in Australia to open home-improvement stores

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Lowe’s Cos. said Monday it is forming a joint venture with Australia’s largest retailer, Woolworths Ltd., to develop home-improvement stores.
