Obama’s plan to increase taxes on multinationals takes a hit with new estimate by Congress

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama’s efforts to increase taxes on multinational corporations took a hit Thursday when a new congressional estimate showed his plan would raise only three-fourths of the money the administration projected.
