Flood wreak havoc in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district

SINDHUDURG - Floods caused by incessant rains continued to wrecked havoc in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district on Saturday, as hundreds of people were left stranded and acres of agricultural lands were washed away.

SINDHUDURG - In a major pre-election exercise, the Maharashtra government Wednesday announced a Rs.5,000 crore (Rs.50 billion) package to develop and modernise the backward Konkan region.
