ArcelorMittal scotches rights issue rumours

LUXEMBOURG - ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker, Tuesday denied a newspaper report that it was considering a five billion Euro ($6.5 billion) share sale.

ArcelorMittal annual net income down 9 percent

LUXEMBOURG - Leading steel manufacturer ArcelorMittal Wednesday reported net income of $9.4 billion for the 12 months ended Dec 31, down 9 percent from that earned during the previous fiscal.
