Yum Brands says 1Q profit falls 14 percent mainly on stronger dollar

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Restaurant operator Yum Brands Inc. reported a 14 percent drop in first-quarter profit Wednesday as a stronger dollar cut into overseas profits, offsetting continued growth in China.
