Kennebunkport neighbors give thanks to George H.W. Bush with 6,000-pound Navy anchor

KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine — Former president and World II naval aviator George H.W. Bush has been honored by some of his neighbors in Kennebunkport. The group unveiled a Navy anchor and a plaque acquired as a way to thank Bush for his service as president and for being a good neighbor.
