Cummins cites loss of Chrysler business in closing Indiana plant, laying off 690 workers

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Chrysler’s production shutdown is causing Cummins to temporarily close a southern Indiana plant that makes diesel engines for Dodge Ram pickup trucks.
