EMC takes majority stake in Data Domain after outbidding NetApp

HOPKINTON, Mass. — Data storage company EMC Corp. said Monday it has acquired a majority stake in Data Domain Inc. after beating out rival NetApp Inc. in a heated bidding competition earlier this month.
