Peaceniks light candles at India-Pakistan border

ATTARI BORDER - In what has become an annual ritual at the Attari-Wagah international border between India and Pakistan, peace activists from both sides assembled at the check post here Friday midnight to light candles and pledge for better relations between both sides.

ATTARI BORDER - Discounting the war threat rhetoric, India Tuesday repatriated 66 Pakistani prisoners to their home country as a goodwill gesture on the eve of the New Year.

ATTARI BORDER - Indian and Pakistani troopers have always stamped their feet and postured in goose step as they lower their flags every evening at this border post between the two countries. Now the body language has become more aggressive as war hysteria runs high.
