Acid thrown in Hong Kong shopping district, injuring 24; 3rd attack in 6 months

HONG KONG — An unidentified assailant hurled acid in a busy Hong Kong shopping district, injuring 24 pedestrians including a 4-year old girl, police said Tuesday. It was the third in a series of acid attacks that have hurt some 100 people.
