Chinese triple Olympic gold medal gymnast Yang Wei to retire

BEIJING — China’s triple Olympic gold medalist Yang Wei, one of the country’s best performers at last year’s Beijing Games, has retired from gymnastics, the official Xinhua News Agency said Thursday.
