Severe Earthquakes over Alaska observed repeatedly

After a 7.8 magnitude earthquake tremors Jackson bay in NZ and then there were more in New Zealand as we reported here, there were repeated earthquakes observed over South of Alaska too but fortunately not that much of a loss. The latest in Alaska  as shown in earthquake.usgs.gov, are as follows

Strong earthquake jolts populated southern Alaska but causes little damage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A strong earthquake jolted Alaska’s most populous region Monday, sending residents and office workers diving under desks and huddling in doorways but causing almost no damage.
